MILAN HOMME FASHION WEEK - NOTES FROM BACKSTAGE PHOTOGRAPHER

FERNANDO BARRAZA

"Most shows had a very clean fresh look on the boys, nothing crazy in terms of makeup expect for Vivienne Westwood where all the models Hair was in fingers waves with all models wearing purple lipstick. Highlight model of the week would have to be Francisco Lachowski walking in 13 shows."

Shows in more detail...

Carlo Piagnetlli:

Key colours for the season were blue, orange, cream and black. Great layers, sharp tailoring mixed with some tweed and a kilt for good measure.

Costume National:

D Squared:

Brokeback Mountain was the theme for the show… which started on the huge set containing a timber cabin and snow flakes falling from the ceiling onto the catwalk.

Lots of black and denim teamed with great white shirts, aprons and chunky gloves and knits, oh and cool black hats!

Dashes of burgundy, browns, black and metallic fabrics.

With influences from their Asian market models that came out in sharp tailored suits with great prints on metallic fabrics, dashes of fur trims and fur hats.

Frankie Morello:

This was all about skin, with all models ending up in Frankie Morello undies for the finale. Not bad!

Colours for the season are kaki, brown grey and black… lots of tweed and great prints of the Frankie morello graphic Caution prints on suiting, chucky scarfs and hats teamed up with blankets under the arms of the models.

Key colours for the season include burgundy, brown and charcoal made into suits, knitted cardigans and old style hats teamed up with some great leather travel bags.

The theme of a old train worker looked amazing on the models!
