Who? This is who…
Vass Eliadis, Identity’s founding Manager and Artistic Director, has over 28 years experience in the hairdressing industry. He is a man of two passions – hairdressing and the little old worker's cottage
that has been in his family for almost a century. Specialising in cuts, Vass’s work is highly recognised (in Australia and internationally). He has met with Tim Hartley (THE cutting icon) and Annie Humphries
(THE most decorated colourist in the business) on a number of occasions, both from Vidal Sassoon. They share a similar passionate philosophy for stylists that are very multi-faceted in talent and believe
in a perfect cut and colour every time. Moloko, Goo Goo Dolls, Chloe Maxwell, Natalie Bassingwaite and Powderfinger, are amongst a few of the illustrious names that are fans of Identity. Identity is loved by many more stars, the people of Brisbane who are loyal followers of the salon.
What does Vass say?
Vass shares ‘It’s not all about me, what I have tried to do with Identity is have a laboratory workspace that is the salon, filled with amazing hairdressers that use that as a work tool to produce cutting edge hairdressing’. And this he has done…magnificently… gloriously!
The Salon’s 2008 total makeover was inspired by Andy Warhol’s arthouse classic movie Flesh For Frankenstein and boasts two wide screen TV’s with the latest in fashion trends. Although extremely glamorous and high tech, the New York industrial feel salon remains warm and inviting. Globally unique, Identity’s friendly stylists are up to date on the latest trends and zealous about hair.
