Hairdressers will learn the secrets publishing their hair collections around the world, when Leanne Cutler of Hair Shots 2 The World spills the beans at Lorna Evans' Classics and Session Styling Workshops in 2012.

After 25 years in the industry & 10 years as an Educator for Matrix and now currently REDKEN, Lorna Evans is launching her Classics and Session Styling Workshop in 2012 with a focus on long hair styling and photoshoot techniques.
2011 Victorian Hairdresser of the Year, Lorna Evans shares her decade of experience as an educator across a four week journey that culminates in a photo shoot project; honing skills and growing confidence in hairstylists to build ‘special occasion’ business in the salon.
“Someone once said to me there’s no money in long hair styling,” remarks Lorna. “There’s no money in long hair if you take too long and you are not confident and competent.”
Teaching stylists how to take their look to the next professional level, the unique four week workshop will cover topics such as commercial looks that can create the most profit for salons and getting skills together to put on a photo shoot on an affordable budget.
Week One goes back to basics with the key to long hair styling, foundation and preparation, with Week Two building on styling techniques such as perfect waves, curls, volume and texture.
Week Three plunges head first into photo shoot preparation, from model casting calls, to tips on getting work published by guest speaker Leanne Cutler from Shots To The World ; followed by the final week where everything comes together under the creative lens of photographer Peter Coulson.
Held in Melbourne across dates in April, May, August and September, and limited to 15 students, Lorna Evans’ Classics and Session Styling Workshop is the key to sharpening skills whilst learning the important know-how of a photo shoot.
