L’ORÉAL PROFESSIONNEL PRESENT THE 2010 COLOUR TROPHY FINAL

Thursday, 8 July 2010

Excitement reached fever pitch on Sunday 4th July when L’Oréal Professionnel held the finals of their coveted Colour Trophy awards in an entertainment packed show. Over 550 Australian and international beauty professionals gathered at Melbourne’s Convention Centre to be delighted and entertained by dance duo the Potbelleez and dance performance group Vospertron, before the winning entrants were revealed to an excited crowd. Hosted by Australian television and comedy personality Will Anderson, the tone of the audience were in giggles throughout the evening.

The highlight of the evening was an international showcase by Parisian hair personality and L’Oréal ambassador Laurent Decreton, who was also formed part of the judging panel for the 2010 entrants. Laurent has worked as a stylist in haute couture shows for the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Yves Saint-Laurent and Chanel, and travels worldwide as an international representative for L’Oréal Professionnel. During the evening Laurent offered an exclusive glimpse into his 2010 ‘Travel Journal’ Collection, enthralling the audience with on stage demonstrations of his latest looks and recreating ‘postcards’ featuring European and worldwide themed styles.

Guests including the Potbelleez continued to celebrate and dance the night away at the after party, held next to the venue at the Hilton’s Sotano, where revelers refuelled on paella and bubbles before continuing the party long into the night.
